Based in La Porte and servicing all of northwest Indiana, Tom Larson brings 37 years of full time experience as a real estate broker to help you with all your real estate needs. Having worked for a general contractor for 6 years and obtaining the Certified General Appraiser license by the state of Indiana, Tom as a commercial broker, is ready to bring experience, knowledge and a commitment to representing your best interests in finding the best solution to anything involving the intricacies of buying, selling and leasing real estate.
Tom’s decision to run an office devoted to commercial real estate, has enabled him to focus exclusively on commercial real estate and collaborate with other full time commercial brokers offering their services throughout northwest Indiana. Tom is a Board Member and Immediate Past Chairman of the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Chairman of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee. He is also on the Board of La Porte’s Economic Development Corporation, GLEDC, and is Chairmen of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the La Porte County Solid Waste District. Tom is currently a Board Member and Secretary for the La Porte County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Tom has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University. He obtained the GRI, Graduate REALTORS Institute, designation from the National Association of REALTORS and takes classes related to commercial real estate to further his industry knowledge as well as meet Indiana’s licensing requirements for a real estate broker and certified appraiser. In addition to being a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Tom is a Charter Member of the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS.
He lives in La Porte, Indiana with his wife, Becky, and has two grown sons.
